Product Description
Aquascape Construction Epoxy - Slate Grey
Aquascape Construction Epoxy - Slate Grey is a two-part underwater epoxy putty for freshwater aquariums, saltwater aquariums, ponds, rockwork, coral mounting, and general aquarium repairs. It cures to a slate grey colour, making it a practical choice for base rock, freshwater hardscape, pond repairs, pipework repairs, and darker aquascaping joints.
Stronger Rockwork and Underwater Aquarium Repairs
This construction epoxy is designed to bond and support aquarium hardscape where movement, current, snails, urchins, fish, or maintenance can shift loose pieces. It can be used to join rock structures, secure coral placements, create bases, repair equipment, and stabilize aquascapes without draining the aquarium.
Slate Grey Epoxy for Freshwater, Saltwater, and Pond Use
- Two-part epoxy putty developed for underwater aquarium applications.
- Slate grey colour blends well with darker rock, freshwater hardscape, pond repairs, and general-use applications.
- Can be used in saltwater, freshwater, reef aquariums, ponds, and other underwater settings.
- Useful for bonding rock to rock, positioning corals, mounting frags, making clam bases, and repairing pipework or equipment.
- Stickier formulation helps grip wet substrates more easily than many standard epoxies.
- Once fully cured, the epoxy can be machined, drilled, filed, sanded, sawn, or painted if required.
Aquascape Epoxy Slate Grey Specifications
- Pack size: 113 g or 4 oz.
- Format: Two-part epoxy putty sticks.
- Colour: Slate grey.
- Use: Freshwater aquariums, saltwater aquariums, ponds, rockwork, coral mounting, and repairs.

Mixing and Applying Two-Part Aquarium Epoxy
Cut or break off equal amounts of the two epoxy sticks and knead them together until the colour and texture are uniform. Apply the mixed putty to clean rock, coral bases, frag plugs, pipework, or equipment as required, then press the piece into position. Support heavy rocks, large corals, and overhangs until the epoxy has set enough to hold them securely. For stocked aquariums, avoid excessive underwater handling and stop immediately if the water becomes cloudy.
What's Included
- One 113 g pack of Aquascape Construction Epoxy - Slate Grey.
- Two epoxy putty sticks: resin and hardener.
Important Aquarium Use Note
Do not overwork epoxy underwater in a stocked aquarium. Excessive manipulation can cloud the water and may reduce oxygen levels in smaller systems. If clouding occurs, stop using the epoxy immediately and increase aeration until the water clears.
