CaribSea has been supplying aquarium substrates since 1972, with mineralogy and grain grading matched to the job rather than sold as generic sand. This collection covers the marine side — Arag-Alive Fiji Pink and Special Grade, Ocean Direct live sand, Seafloor Special Grade and Florida Crushed Coral — plus freshwater gravels and sands such as Crystal River and Gemstone Creek. It also carries the LifeRock range in branch, arch, donut and shape forms, along with the Nano Reef Kit and Purple-Up. Note that heavier sand and rock ships at actual freight cost. Grain size decides whether sand stays put under strong flow.
