SeaChem Phosguard - 2 Litre

I, like many others have had phosphate levels that spike, and can be hard to control when not using a reactor. I bought phosguard and built a custom reactor using a cheap pump. I had trouble lowering phosphate until using the reactor. I put in phosguard and within a few days saw a significant drop in measurable phosphate. No more algae blooms. I did lots of research about using an aluminum product. I have seen no issues with any soft corals or my nems. After lowering the phosphate levels I saw an excellent reaction in my tank inhabitants. Nems became more lively and corals growing without problems. Yes Rowphos is a better product, but when you compare price, effectiveness, and usability I would say that phosguard is the way to go.
