Product Description
AquaForest Component - 1+/2+/3+ - 5 Litre
AquaForest Component - 1+/2+/3+ - 5 Litre is a ready-to-use three-part reef dosing system based on the Balling method, formulated to maintain calcium, magnesium, KH, and essential trace elements in marine aquariums.
AquaForest Component 1+/2+/3+ Three-Part Reef Dosing
Component 1+/2+/3+ is designed for regular equal-part dosing in reef aquariums where corals consume calcium, magnesium, carbonate hardness, and trace elements every day. The system simplifies balanced supplementation by using three coordinated fluids rather than separate single-parameter additives for every element.
Balling Method Macro and Trace Element Support
- Three-part ready-to-use dosing system based on the Balling method.
- Designed to maintain calcium, magnesium, carbonate hardness, and selected trace elements.
- Intended for dosing in equal amounts on a regular basis.
- Component 1+ supports calcium along with selected trace elements.
- Component 2+ supports carbonate hardness with fluorine and iodine.
- Component 3+ supports magnesium and ionic balance through Reef Mineral Salt content.
- Large 5 Litre format is ideal for established reef systems with ongoing daily consumption.
Component 1+ 2+ 3+ 5 Litre System Details
- Product type: three-part reef dosing system
- Package size: 5 Litre format
- Application: marine and reef aquariums
- Recommended calcium range: 380-460 ppm
- Recommended magnesium range: 1180-1460 ppm
- Typical average hard coral demand: approximately 25 ml of each component per 100 L daily
- Dosing method: equal parts adjusted according to measured calcium, magnesium, and KH consumption
Equal Part Dosing and Reef Stability Notes
Dose Component 1+, Component 2+, and Component 3+ in equal amounts unless correcting with separate additives to rebalance calcium, magnesium, or KH. Split the daily dose into as many small portions as practical for better stability, and test calcium, magnesium, and alkalinity regularly while adjusting the dose.
AquaForest Component 1+/2+/3+ Directions
- Test calcium, magnesium, and KH before starting the system.
- Determine daily consumption by testing before dosing and again after 24 hours without supplementation where safe for the aquarium.
- Dose Component 1+, 2+, and 3+ in equal daily amounts according to aquarium demand.
- For an average hard-coral system, use approximately 25 ml of each component per 100 L daily as a starting reference.
- Split the daily amount into several smaller doses when possible.
- If one parameter remains out of range, correct it separately with Calcium, Magnesium, or KH Buffer before returning to equal dosing.
