Mind-Blowing Spread! Radion G6 has spread so wide it has to be seen to be believed thanks to HEI2 Optical System
Radion G6 increases output from an impressive 110.5 degrees in the G5 to a staggering 126.3 degrees. This improvement was achievable through a change to the primary optic on the LEDs which then integrates with the geometry in the existing HEI (Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) secondary optic (lens) Radion is a winner in the cost vs. output equation. Wide even spread requires less fixtures to cover more tank. The result, incredibly even PAR over almost 4ft of coverage area, making it the highest average output Radion and perhaps the most efficient aquarium light ever madeAn added benefit of super wide spread is that the aquarium assists the optics. The output angle of the G6 results in the interior glass of the aquarium reflecting light back into the tank. This reduces shadowing and provides light to the undersides of coral.Other things to be aware when looking at G6 Radion Light
The spectrum of the G6 Pro can be matched to G5 Pro spectrum although the clusters are different - the core spectrum is the same and the flexibility of the G6 will match the equivalent G5. Peak PAR is higher on the G5 but the G6 produces more light (spread) in total.
All current RMS parts and components that are compatible with the G5 are also compatible with the G6.
G5 units are fully upgradeable to the same sized G6 units.The upgrade kit consists of a cluster, lens and necessary tools to perform the upgrade. You are able to change from a G5 Blue to a G6 Pro and vice versa as long as it's the same model size (XR15 or XR30) you can change your model version through the upgrade process. The new clusters have an additional 2-year warranty beyond the existing Radion warranty. All other product warranties remain unchanged by performing an upgrade.

Neptune Flow Sensor - 1/2 Inch
Overview
The Neptune Systems FS-50 Flow Sensor is designed to be used with the Flow Monitoring Module (FMM).
Usually used with aquarium accessories like reactors, carbon/GFO filters, etc., this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses BSPP threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC adapters with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 1/2PVC plumbing.
The FS-50 will work with flow rates from 30-250 gph.

Aquarium leaks are one of the most feared events for even the most seasoned aquarist - and for good reason. When it comes to leaks, it's not just about whether you'll have one, but when it happens, will you catch it in timeMost often if you catch a leak in the early stages, when it is a simple drip, you prevent hundreds, if not thousands of dollars in damage.
The LDK includes everything you need to enable your Apex to detect leaks in two locations. Two additional leak detection probes can be purchased separately (4 total).
When the LDK detects a leak, your Apex can sound an alarm, send an alert to your mobile device, or take other actions on your aquarium. The LDK provides the ultimate in disaster prevention for this all too common aquarium issue.

The 2 Channel AquaSurf or Apex to stream cable assembly has 1 RJ45 connector which plugs into the Apex base unit, and 2 Din5 connectors which plug into 2 stream pumps allowing operation of the stream pumps through your Apex controller.
An amazing fish with huge fins which dance in the water with every movement, each Black Ice clownfish has unique striping with eccentric shapes, and deep ochre coloration which darkens with age. This variety was made from a cross between Premium Snowflake and ultra-black Ocellaris.False Percula, or Ocellaris clownfish, grows up to 4 Inches and needs an aquarium of at least 15 gallons for a single or pair. Groups may be kept in larger aquariums as long as the dominant female chooses to tolerate the small fish. It works best if all individuals are added at the same time.Ocellaris clownfish are also known as False Percula for their close resemblance to their close relative the True Percula. It pairs best with its own species, but may also chose a True Percula as a mate. It is very rare for another species to bond with it; more commonly fighting occurs. True Percula and False Percula clownfish are nearly identical; the main difference is True Percula typically has a more orange color around the pupil, whereas Ocellaris eyes show more black. Ocellaris clownfish have pencil thin black lines around their white stripes, as opposed to mature True Percula who have thick black outlines.They may host with nearly any anemone species, except Atlantic species. Best hosts are Magnifica/Ritteri (Heteractis magnifica) or Carpet (Stichodactyla sp.), however Bubble Tip (Entacmaea quadricolor) and Sebae (Heteractis crispa) are also popular choices.Clownfish are hardy, easy to keep and are a perfect first fish for a new aquarium. Most species are available tank bred. They are omnivorous and easy to feed on high quality food items such as frozen Mysis shrimp, enriched brine shrimp, and dry foods, preferably more than once a day.Clownfish are well known for their charming wiggling way of swimming, which serves them well in their natural home, within the stinging tentacles of an anemone. The exact reason clownfish are not stung is not known, but it may have something to do with the fish's slime coat. In the ocean, without the protection of the anemone, clownfish would be easily picked off by predators. In an aquarium the anemone, which has much more demanding needs than the fish, is not necessary. The fish may instead host with a soft coral such as furry mushrooms, toadstool leather, colt coral, or even within macro algae. It may choose to host within large polyp stony corals such as Euphyllia sp. as well, however the coral does sting the fish. We don't recommend encouraging them to host with delicate corals such as bubble or brain type corals, which the fish may injure with its constant swimming. Even with an anemone in the aquarium the fish will chose to host with whichever home it likes best.Clownfish may be kept singly, or more commonly in pairs, in which case the smallest more submissive fish remains a male, and the largest most dominant fish changes sex to become a female. Clowns are related to damselfish, and pairs will not tolerate other species of clownfish within their territory (which may include 50 gallons of space or more) and may fight to the death. They are prone to parasitic infections such as Brooklynella and velvet.It is common for pairs of clownfish to spawn in the aquarium, and pairs in their prime may lay eggs near their nest site as often as every two weeks. It is not necessary to interfere with the parents, who may become more aggressive at this time, chasing away other fish and nipping at their owner's hands. It is possible, though laborious, to raise the young fish at home. If a breeding effort is to be attempted, it is important to ensure the parent fish are of the same species in order to maintain genetic purity for future generations.

Neptune Flow Sensor - 2 Inch
Overview
Usually used with a return pump, this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses British Standard Parallel Pipe (BSPP) threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC unions with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 2" PVC plumbing.
The FS-200 will work with flow rates from 300-3000 gph.

Feed Mode - At the touch of a button the Vectra pump will temporarily pause the current mode and idle allowing food to be added to the tank without being cycled into the overflow and filtration.
Speed Lock - Speed Lock gives you the ability to lock in a desired speed on the pump by disabling the control dial protecting you from accidental and not so accidental unwanted changes in speed.

Lagoonal Random - Lagoonal Random mode simulates a low-energy lagoon environment. The speed of the pump is changed slowly to recreate the gentle currents of a lagoon. Traditional AC pumps, when used as a return pump for your sump, are flow controlled through the use of a choke valve. Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 23 Inch
Overview
The Neptune LLS Sensors for your Apex controller allow for the measurement of water depth in inches or centimeters.
The Liquid Level Sensor is available in four different sizes- 4", 15" 23" and 35" with each sensor having a special place in helping understand the water level in the sump, aquarium, reservoirs, and other liquid-holding containers.
No longer do you need to physically look to see how much water level is above or below a specific point, but now simply open the Apex Fusion App and observe.
How LLS from Neptune works
The LLS sensor can connect to any available FMM port in your Apex System. Liquid will enter the plastic envelope around the thin material of the sensor. Once the liquid is in contact with the sensor material the LLS uses a patented resistive sensing technology to accurately and reliably measure the liquid level in a container. Included with each LLS sensor is a clip that allows for the mounting of the sensor to the side of the sump, aquarium or container. You can also mount the LLS sensor to a baffle inside the sump. Once calibrated the LLS is accurate to about two-tenths of an inch.
Application
The 23" sensor is a bit larger version of the 15" sensor and can be utilized in similar applications to the 15" but for larger sized-aquariums A great application to consider is utilizing these advancing a roller mat.
Application
The components in the head of the LLS are fully encapsulated in epoxy, but the LLS is not intended to be fully submerged. Care should be taken when selecting the proper length of LLS and installing it to ensure that the water level never exceeds the uppermost graduation mark.

Overview
Moonlight in the ocean is believed to be as significant as the time spent in full daylight. Moonlight triggers various internal and external biological activities among the many thousands of reef organisms. Many corals continue to grow under moonlight conditions and for some fish and coral it is important for the reproductive process. Also, night predators come out and cruise, while prey go into hiding.
The other benefit of moonlights is that it extends the time you can enjoy your aquarium and in a totally different way. We all like to go to our tank with a flashlight and see what's going on, but it can often startle many creatures and send them into hiding. With a moonlight, your tank has just enough light for you to see many of the fascinating things going on in the aquarium after the main lights go down.
With the Apex and the LSM - Lunar Simulator Module, you can load in the entire years lunar cycle data and your moonlight LED will dim and brighten according to the true lunar cycle. This has been shown to benefit spawning cycles in some tank organisms.

Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 4 Inch
Overview
The Neptune LLS Sensors for your Apex controller allow for the measurement of water depth in inches or centimeters.
The Liquid Level Sensor is available in four different sizes- 4", 15" 23" and 35" with each sensor having a special place in helping understand the water level in the sump, aquarium, reservoirs, and other liquid-holding containers.
No longer do you need to physically look to see how much water level is above or below a specific point, but now simply open the Apex Fusion App and observe.
How LLS from Neptune works
The LLS sensor can connect to any available FMM port in your Apex System. Liquid will enter the plastic envelope around the thin material of the sensor. Once the liquid is in contact with the sensor material the LLS uses a patented resistive sensing technology to accurately and reliably measure the liquid level in a container. Included with each LLS sensor is a clip that allows for the mounting of the sensor to the side of the sump, aquarium or container. You can also mount the LLS sensor to a baffle inside the sump. Once calibrated the LLS is accurate to about two-tenths of an inch.
Application
The 4" LLS is the smallest of the four sensor offerings. It is the perfect fit for small reservoirs for small sumps, ATO reservoirs and additive containers. The smallest LLS can be a great solution to double check that liquid additions of your additives match your dosing solution over a period of time. For example, if you dosed 250 mL additives over two weeks and you know each inch is 100 mL, then the additive reservoir liquid level would have decreased exactly by 2.5".
Application
The components in the head of the LLS are fully encapsulated in epoxy, but the LLS is not intended to be fully submerged. Care should be taken when selecting the proper length of LLS and installing it to ensure that the water level never exceeds the uppermost graduation mark.
