Neptune Liquid Level Sensor - 15 Inch
Overview
The Neptune LLS Sensors for your Apex controller allow for the measurement of water depth in inches or centimeters.
The Liquid Level Sensor is available in four different sizes- 4", 15" 23" and 35" with each sensor having a special place in helping understand the water level in the sump, aquarium, reservoirs, and other liquid-holding containers.
No longer do you need to physically look to see how much water level is above or below a specific point, but now simply open the Apex Fusion App and observe.
How LLS from Neptune works
The LLS sensor can connect to any available FMM port in your Apex System. Liquid will enter the plastic envelope around the thin material of the sensor. Once the liquid is in contact with the sensor material the LLS uses a patented resistive sensing technology to accurately and reliably measure the liquid level in a container. Included with each LLS sensor is a clip that allows for the mounting of the sensor to the side of the sump, aquarium or container. You can also mount the LLS sensor to a baffle inside the sump. Once calibrated the LLS is accurate to about two-tenths of an inch.
Application
This is the ideal sensor for your average containers used in and around aquarium. This will be the ideal sensor for measuring the return pump section of your sump. You will be able to make sure that the water level stays consistent and any drops or gains in water level can be carefully examined to make sure there are no changes to your salinity. Further, if, for example, the ATO reservoir is empty and the water level in the return pump area starts to fall, then if using a COR or Vectra pump (new/upcoming feature) you can turn the speed of the return pump down to prevent cavitation. Another great application of the 15" sensor is to place in your ATO reservoir. Especially if you have a reservoir you need to fill manually, often times you simply look at the reservoir while going out the door and know if it is enough water to cover the evaporation rate while you'll be gone. If not, you usually stop what you are doing and take care of it. Now, simply pull out your Apex Fusion App and know without even looking!
Application
The components in the head of the LLS are fully encapsulated in epoxy, but the LLS is not intended to be fully submerged. Care should be taken when selecting the proper length of LLS and installing it to ensure that the water level never exceeds the uppermost graduation mark.

Vectra S2 Return Pump Modes
Constant Speed - Constant Speed mode is the default mode of the Vectra, this makes the pump produce flow at a constant speed that is determined by the position of the dial.
Feed Mode - At the touch of a button the Vectra pump will temporarily pause the current mode and idle allowing food to be added to the tank without being cycled into the overflow and filtration.
Speed Lock - Speed Lock gives you the ability to lock in a desired speed on the pump by disabling the control dial protecting you from accidental and not so accidental unwanted changes in speed.
Closed Loop Modes Pump
Lagoonal Random - Lagoonal Random mode simulates a low-energy lagoon environment. The speed of the pump is changed slowly to recreate the gentle currents of a lagoon. Traditional AC pumps, when used as a return pump for your sump, are flow controlled through the use of a choke valve. The Neptune Systems FS-25 Flow Sensor is designed to be used with the Flow Monitoring Module (FMM).
Usually used with aquarium accessories like RODI inputs, calcium, reactor feed lines, etc., this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on 1/4" tubing, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.

Radion G6 increases output from an impressive 110.5 degrees in the G5 to a staggering 126.3 degrees. This improvement was achievable through a change to the primary optic on the LEDs which then integrates with the geometry in the existing HEI (Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) secondary optic (lens) Radion is a winner in the cost vs. output equation. Wide even spread requires less fixtures to cover more tank. The result, incredibly even PAR over almost 4ft of coverage area, making it the highest average output Radion and perhaps the most efficient aquarium light ever madeAn added benefit of super wide spread is that the aquarium assists the optics. The output angle of the G6 results in the interior glass of the aquarium reflecting light back into the tank. The spectrum of the G6 Pro can be matched to G5 Pro spectrum although the clusters are different - the core spectrum is the same and the flexibility of the G6 will match the equivalent G5. Peak PAR is higher on the G5 but the G6 produces more light (spread) in total.
All current RMS parts and components that are compatible with the G5 are also compatible with the G6.
G5 units are fully upgradeable to the same sized G6 units.The upgrade kit consists of a cluster, lens and necessary tools to perform the upgrade. You are able to change from a G5 Blue to a G6 Pro and vice versa as long as it's the same model size (XR15 or XR30) you can change your model version through the upgrade process. The new clusters have an additional 2-year warranty beyond the existing Radion warranty. All other product warranties remain unchanged by performing an upgrade.

Return Pump: Measuring the flow of your aquarium's main return pump is an incredibly useful piece of information. The key benefit would be to have the Apex notify you the instant the flow stops for any reason - usually the result of a failed or faulty pump. Furthermore, an indication of a reduced flow rate could be used to determine that the pump or the lines are dirty or are becoming clogged with algae, debris, animals, or the growth of organisms inside your plumbing.Auxiliary pumps on reactors and the like: This is a very handy application for the FMM. Place a flow sensor on a device like a carbon/gfo/biopellet reactor and it serves many purposes. First off, you will know if your pump is not flowing correctly or failed altogether. Next, you can easily fine-tune the flow into the reactor by watching the dashboard tile on your Apex. Finally, you can know when the reactor is becoming clogged with detritus or possibly channeling has occurred by an alert on your Apex or by monitoring your dashboard. Put a flow sensor inline to your device, plug it in to the FMM, and see exactly the flow rate of the water (any aquarium fluid really) going through that sensor. The industrial-grade flow sensors use either a turbine or paddle-wheel mechanism (depending on the model) to measure the flow. It is important to note that the flow rate that will be reported back to you from the flow sensors will likely be far lower than you expect or what is printed on the pump label or documentation. This is due to head pressure loss from physical height differences, long runs, restrictions such as ball valves, fittings like elbows, tees, and reducers, and then finally the loc-line many use as the entry point into their tanks. As an example, a pump rated at 3200gph will likely be showing less than half that amount in nearly all applications.Four Ports: The FMK comes with three flow sensors but the FMM has a total of four ports. This means you have one port free to use for another purpose. Buy additional flow sensors (available also in 2" and 1/4" sizes) or choose from other options available and add even more functionality!Each Neptune FMK includes following items
1 - FMM (Fluid Monitoring Module) - is a module that connects to any Apex (Apex(2016), Apex Classic, Apex Lite, Apex Jr.) - via it's AquaBus port providing four multi-function monitoring ports that can be used for flow sensors, water-level sensors, leak detection sensors and possibly future products as well.
1 - 1" Flow Sensor - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. This sensor is most often used to measure the flow in the main return line of a standard-sized aquarium.
2 - 1/2" Flow Sensors - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. Two of these are included in the FMK. These sensors are perfect for attaching to devices such as media reactors, biopellet reactors, etc.

Overview
The WAV is the first of a line of aquarium products from Neptune Systems that will use a completely new interface. While many in the aquarium world continue to embrace wireless technologies for interconnectivity, we have decided to go the other direction - a wire.
Wireless connectivity from your smartphone or tablet to your Apex (or other controller) is completely logical - and we embrace that. However, wireless used for the interconnecting of devices within the confines of common aquariums (that are mostly less than 6' long) is not only unnecessary, but it reduces reliability.
Our philosophy is that when distances are measured in a few feet, wireless is a solution looking for a problem. And ironically, wireless really does not save wires. You still need to use a wire to get power to the devices anyway. And let's not forget configuration - wireless devices require syncing, endless button presses and arcane steps to get them to connect up - hopefully with you and not your neighbor.
Finally for all this "benefit", you as the consumer get the added cost of this wireless technology that must be baked into the price of every device you buy. So after much study of the problem, our answer is 1LINK.
It is called 1LINK because there is one power supply, one module (for up to three 1LINK devices), and a one-click-connection of a wire that carries not only the power for the device, but two-way communication from it to your Apex. Setup is simply click and go.

Needle Valve CO2 Regulators
This is definitely not one of those cheap needle valves that will not allow you to have the precision needed for adjusting your CO2! A high precision, stainless steel needle value suitable for virtually any application where precise control of CO2 introduction into your ecosystem is required. Our Needle valves have a 1/8" MPT connection so an adapter fitting may be required to fit your application.
Solenoid Valve CO2 Regulator
A valuable accessory for any calcium reactor. Attaches inline on the reactor CO2 assembly and plugs into wall. When the power goes off the solenoid shuts down not allowing CO2 to flood your reactor. This prevents a major pH swing (due to the very low pH in the reactor with so much CO2 present) from happening when power is restored. Ideal for use with pH Controllers on freshwater planted systems, and marine systems using calcium reactors, etc. Each solenoid is supplied with a 1.5m cord.
