Return Pump: Measuring the flow of your aquarium's main return pump is an incredibly useful piece of information. The key benefit would be to have the Apex notify you the instant the flow stops for any reason - usually the result of a failed or faulty pump. Furthermore, an indication of a reduced flow rate could be used to determine that the pump or the lines are dirty or are becoming clogged with algae, debris, animals, or the growth of organisms inside your plumbing.Auxiliary pumps on reactors and the like: This is a very handy application for the FMM. Place a flow sensor on a device like a carbon/gfo/biopellet reactor and it serves many purposes. First off, you will know if your pump is not flowing correctly or failed altogether. Next, you can easily fine-tune the flow into the reactor by watching the dashboard tile on your Apex. Finally, you can know when the reactor is becoming clogged with detritus or possibly channeling has occurred by an alert on your Apex or by monitoring your dashboard. Put a flow sensor inline to your device, plug it in to the FMM, and see exactly the flow rate of the water (any aquarium fluid really) going through that sensor. The industrial-grade flow sensors use either a turbine or paddle-wheel mechanism (depending on the model) to measure the flow. It is important to note that the flow rate that will be reported back to you from the flow sensors will likely be far lower than you expect or what is printed on the pump label or documentation. This is due to head pressure loss from physical height differences, long runs, restrictions such as ball valves, fittings like elbows, tees, and reducers, and then finally the loc-line many use as the entry point into their tanks. As an example, a pump rated at 3200gph will likely be showing less than half that amount in nearly all applications.Four Ports: The FMK comes with three flow sensors but the FMM has a total of four ports. This means you have one port free to use for another purpose. Buy additional flow sensors (available also in 2" and 1/4" sizes) or choose from other options available and add even more functionality!Each Neptune FMK includes following items
1 - FMM (Fluid Monitoring Module) - is a module that connects to any Apex (Apex(2016), Apex Classic, Apex Lite, Apex Jr.) - via it's AquaBus port providing four multi-function monitoring ports that can be used for flow sensors, water-level sensors, leak detection sensors and possibly future products as well.
1 - 1" Flow Sensor - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. This sensor is most often used to measure the flow in the main return line of a standard-sized aquarium.
2 - 1/2" Flow Sensors - This flow sensor connects to the FMM, monitors the flow of water through the device, and then reports it back to your Apex via the FMM. Two of these are included in the FMK. These sensors are perfect for attaching to devices such as media reactors, biopellet reactors, etc.
2 - 1" Unions - To connect your FS-100 Flow sensor, we have included in the FMK, two 1BSPT -> 1Slip PVC Unions. (North American markets only)

Overview
The WAV is the first of a line of aquarium products from Neptune Systems that will use a completely new interface. While many in the aquarium world continue to embrace wireless technologies for interconnectivity, we have decided to go the other direction - a wire.
Wireless connectivity from your smartphone or tablet to your Apex (or other controller) is completely logical - and we embrace that. However, wireless used for the interconnecting of devices within the confines of common aquariums (that are mostly less than 6' long) is not only unnecessary, but it reduces reliability.
Our philosophy is that when distances are measured in a few feet, wireless is a solution looking for a problem. And ironically, wireless really does not save wires. You still need to use a wire to get power to the devices anyway. And let's not forget configuration - wireless devices require syncing, endless button presses and arcane steps to get them to connect up - hopefully with you and not your neighbor.
Finally for all this "benefit", you as the consumer get the added cost of this wireless technology that must be baked into the price of every device you buy. So after much study of the problem, our answer is 1LINK.

The HYDROS Temperature Sensor is an easy and affordable way to prevent your aquarium water from becoming too cold or too hot. It monitors the water temperature in your aquarium so you can keep it within the safe zone for fish, coral, and inverts. The sensor plugs into any Sense Port on a HYDROS device (like the Control 2 or Control 4) and does not require any additional power source.The way it works is easy: just place the sensor inside your aquarium or sump. Neptune Flow Sensor - 1/2 Inch
Overview
The Neptune Systems FS-50 Flow Sensor is designed to be used with the Flow Monitoring Module (FMM).
Usually used with aquarium accessories like reactors, carbon/GFO filters, etc., this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses BSPP threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC adapters with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 1/2PVC plumbing.
The FS-50 will work with flow rates from 30-250 gph.

Monitoring Salinity in an Aquarium can be a ChallengeGet Reliable and Consistent Readings with the SPS KitOne of the biggest challenges with conductivity probes is getting a consistent reading. Many times, the reading is fouled by small bubbles or debris getting on to the probes and end. The SPS Salinity Probe Stability Kit Solves the Problem.The SPS is easy to use! Simply slip the SPS kit over the end of your probe, connect the 1/4in supply line to a small pump such as a Neptune Pmup, or SICCE 90 GPH Micra, or even an open port on your manifold. For the best results, supply the SPS kit between 60 to 100 GPH of consistent and constant flow.The SPS Kit is carefully designed to create just the right amount of water movement and constant pressure around the probe to provide a solid and reliable reading. It will also shielding the probe from bubbles and other debris. If a bubble does get in, the SPS kits constant flow over the probe will act to flush it out and help the reading recover quickly.Basic Installation While supporting the Pressure Screen (B), carefully insert the end of the probe (F) through the top of the SPS Kit Housing (A). Gently push the probe in until it stops against the Pressure Screen. Next - Cover the opening at the bottom of the SPS Kit with your finger for a few seconds to expel any reaming air or bubble that may be trapped. The settle in period will generally last a few minutes to as much as an hour. Once settled in, your reading will level out and you should see a steady trend line.

Aquarium leaks are one of the most feared events for even the most seasoned aquarist - and for good reason. The HI775-26 are the replacement reagents for the HI775 Freshwater Alkalinity Checker HC. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet for traceability.
The HI775-26 are high- quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Freshwater Alkalinity Checker HC. These reagents follow the Colorimetric Method in which the reaction causes a distinctive range of colors from yellow to green to blue to develop. By simply adding one drop of the Chlorine Remover to remove the chlorine interference, and subsequently adding 1 mL of the Alkalinity Reagent to the sample, the reaction will take place and the HI775 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm of CaCO3 .
These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0 to 500 ppm CaCO3.

Overview
This HYDROS Drive Port Cable (72 inches long) is designed to connect to an available Drive port on a Kraken, X2, X4, XD, or other HYDROS Control directly to power small 12V devices such as ATO pumps, cabinet LED lights, fans, solenoids, and steering valves.
It features a GX12-2 connector on one end and a standard female 5.5mm x 2.1mm barrel connector on the other. This cable is NOT suitable for 24V applications.
Neptune Flow Sensor - 2 Inch
Overview
Usually used with a return pump, this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on any pipe, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses British Standard Parallel Pipe (BSPP) threads so for North American customers we have included two specially designed PVC unions with slip fittings to adapt it to standard 2" PVC plumbing.
The FS-200 will work with flow rates from 300-3000 gph.

The HI717-25 are the replacement reagents for the HI717 Phosphate High-Range Checker HC. These high-quality reagents are manufactured in our state-of-the-art facility and are clearly marked with the lot number and expiration date on each packet and dropper bottle for traceability.
The HI717-25 are high-quality reagents that are pre-measured, allowing for users to achieve fast and accurate measurements with their Phosphate High-Range Checker HC. These reagents follow the Amino Acid Method in which the reaction between phosphorus and reagents causes a blue tint in the sample. By simply adding 10 drops of the first reagent to the sample, followed by the packet of the HI717-25 reagent set, the reaction will take place and the HI717 will determine the concentration from the color that is produced. The results will be displayed in ppm (mg/L) of phosphate.
These reagents are designed to be used with samples that have an expected range of 0.0 to 30.0 ppm (mg/L) phosphate.

The HYDROS Flow Sensors are easy-to-install flow meters that communicate to the HYDROS app the flow rate of water passing through it. It is safe for use in freshwater and saltwater aquarium systems. The HYDROS Flow Sensors can be used for reactor feed lines and return pumps. Using the HYDROS Flow Sensors can give you peace of mind that your vital aquarium equipment is operating correctly. You can also use the data it collects in the HYDROS app to create rules. For example, if the flow rate were above or below a certain threshold, you can have HYDROS turn off a piece of equipment that is plugged into a Control XP8, Power 4 WiFi power strip, or Smart Plug outlet.
