Neptune Trident Service Kit
Overview
The DIY Service Kit is an option that is great for our customers that would like to complete the recommended service on their own. This is only for a most hand-on customers that consider themselves "mechanically inclined", and can follow directions well.
We recommend, but not require, that your Neptune Systems Trident receive a preventative service between 24-36 months of operation. It's possible some Tridents will need to be serviced before this recommended service interval, but that would be the exception not common place. Note: Your Trident should be in good working condition prior to servicing. The service kit will in most circumstances not fix a Trident that is not working!

Hanna PH/Conductivity/TDS Tester - HI98129
Overview
The Hanna HI98129 Tester is a highly accurate, waterproof pH meter that can also measure EC/TDS in the low range (0 to 3999 uS/cm EC/ 0 to 2000 ppm TDS) and temperature.
This floating, waterproof combination tester has an easy to read, LCD and an automatic shut-off. In addition, pH and EC/TDS readings are automatically temperature compensated (ATC) to prevent temperature-related variations in your measurements.
For EC/TDS readings, the EC/TDS conversion factor (CONV) is selectable by the user, as well as the temperature compensation coefficient B (BETA).
The HI98129 tester features an easy to replace pH electrode cartridge with an extendable cloth junction. The extendable cloth junction helps increase electrode life and the replaceable pH cartridge means that this tester does not need to be thrown away when the pH sensor is exhausted. Also, the sturdy, snap-in connector means there are no pins to bend or break!

The HYDROS Leak Detection Rope Sensor is the first of its kind in the aquarium industry. The moment water comes into contact with it, that information can be used to alert you on your smartphone, sound an alarm, turn pumps off, and other actions that can protect your aquarium, home, or office from a total disaster.A problem with traditional solid surface leak sensors is that you have to buy several to really feel a sense of security. The HI98103 Checker pH tester has been designed with many advanced features while maintaining the look and feel of the original Checker. Neptune ORP Probe
Overview
Neptune now offers both the ORP and pH probes in a double-junction construction for the Apex controller - these probes are built so they hold calibration longer and have a longer lifespan than single-junction probes.
Single junction probes put the reference electrode in direct contact with aquarium water. Over time, the junction will slowly leak aquarium water into the electrolyte which changes the accuracy of the probe and requires more frequent calibrations.
Double junction probes place a second vessel inside the main electrolyte with a second internal junction. The means that even when the aquarium water eventually begins to make its way in the first compartment, it still has to go through the second junction to contaminate the electrolyte surrounding the reference electrode.
These probes will not only work with your Neptune Apex but virtually any other controller or monitor that uses BNC connections.

This 24VDC, 36W power supply is used with the FMM so that you can attach the powered accessories above like the PMUP or the Solenoid Valve.
This power supply is for 110V USA-style outlets.
Neptune DC24 to Bare Wire Cable - 10 Foot
Overview
The second cable is for the DIY folks out there.
This cable connects to the 24VDC accessory connections on the 1LINK.
This 10 foot cable has two bare (tinned) wires on the other end so you could connect it up to a 24VDC device of your choosing so long as it draws no more than 35W.
Examples might include a solenoid valve or a fan.
This accessory port can be switched on and off just like an EB8 outlet.

Neptune Flow Sensor - 1/4 Inch
Overview
The Neptune Systems FS-25 Flow Sensor is designed to be used with the Flow Monitoring Module (FMM).
Usually used with aquarium accessories like RODI inputs, calcium, reactor feed lines, etc., this flow sensor can be placed in line with the flow on 1/4" tubing, connected to the FMM, and communicate to your Apex the flow rate of water through that pipe.
The flow sensor itself uses push-fit connectors to make connecting to your system as simple as possible.
The FS-25 will work with flow rates from 3-12 gph.

The HI784 Marine Ammonia Checker HC is a handheld colorimeter that uses the Beer-Lambert principle to determine the concentration of ammonia colorimetrically. The HI784 is designed specifically to measure ammonia levels in a saltwater aquarium. The 0.00 to 2.50 ppm range is ideal for coral/fish or fish-only aquarium maintenance.

Using
Insert the hydrometer into the tank or the fish pond until the plate spills. (slowly filling to prevent bubbles from attached to the pointer)
When the hydrometer is full, take out the hydrometer and place it on a horizontal surface.
Read the specific gravity according to the inner scale, and read out the salinity (PPT) according to the outside scale.
Rinse with clean freshwater after each use.

Hydros Triple Optical Level Sensor

The Triple Optical Water Level Sensor plugs directly into a Sense Port on a HYDROS device and does not require an additional power source.
3 Water Level Sensors Added Redundancy
The HYDROS Triple Optical Water Level Sensor can be used for a variety of aquarium applications, such as sensing when your tank needs to be topped off or detecting when a dosing container needs a refill. It plugs into any Sense Port on a HYDROS device (like the Control XS, X2, X4, X10, etc.) and does not require any additional power source. The HYDROS Water Level Sensor contains no moving parts that can fail. The optical eye is magnetically coupled with the magnet side measuring only 1/4" thick. It can be mounted to most clear, tinted, or painted surfaces up to 1/2" thick. The sensor operates in the daytime or complete darkness so it's safe for use hidden inside your aquarium stand or in the back chambers of an all-in-one aquarium. The sensors are easy to place, easy to move, and easy to clean.

The HYDROS Skimmer Sensor serves a very specific and important role: it prevents your protein skimmer from overflowing onto the floor or back into your sump.The way it works is easy: just place the sensor inside any protein skimmer collection cup up to 1/4" thick. There is a magnetic coupling that will sit on the outside of the skimmer cup to keep the sensor securely in place. Once the waste level in the collection cup rises to the point it makes contact with the sensor, it will tell HYDROS to turn the protein skimmer off to prevent overflowing. Your protein skimmer must be plugged into a HYDROS power source, like the Power 4 power strip or Smart Plug, for this sort of skimmer security to operate.The HYDROS Skimmer Sensor plugs into any HYDROS Sense Port and does not require any additional power supply. The optical eye on this sensor is designed to be used inside the collection cup of a protein skimmer, so it's a little different than a standard water level sensor - but purpose-built for this specific and important application. The sensor contains no moving parts that can fail. It's extremely tiny: it's a little over a half-inch thick with a circumference the size of a US penny. The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve is a handy HYDROS Control 2 and Control 4 accessory that provides easy on/off RO or RO/DI water flow. You can connect the solenoid to your reverse osmosis filter and use it to top-off your tank if you don't have the room available for a separate ATO reservoir.The HYDROS DC Solenoid Valve works in conjunction with a HYDROS aquarium controller and an optical or mechanical water level sensor. When the sensor detects the water level is low, it opens the valve to allow fresh RO or RO/DI water to flow through and top-off your tank or sump.
