Tropica Monosolenium tenerum 1-2-Grow! Aquarium Plant is a tissue culture aquarium plant supplied in Tropica's sealed 1-2-Grow! cup format. This attractive Asian liverwort forms low green cushions near the bottom of the aquarium and is often used around hardscape, between foreground plants, or attached to stones for a natural planted-aquarium effect.

Monosolenium tenerum is best described as a larger Riccia-like liverwort that stays down rather than floating to the surface. It is a brittle plant that can break apart easily during handling, but once established it is very undemanding. Small clumps can be placed between other plants or secured to stones with fishing line until the plant settles into position.

Monosolenium Placement and Establishment Notes
This plant is mistakenly known as Pellia. Because Monosolenium tenerum is delicate, handle it gently and avoid burying large portions deeply in the substrate. It is best placed in small clumps or attached to stone, where it can settle and form a low green cushion over time.
Monosolenium 1-2-Grow! Preparation Directions
- Open the sealed 1-2-Grow! cup when you are ready to use the plant.
- Remove the plant from the cup and rinse away the growing media under tap water.
- Separate gently into small clumps, taking care not to crush the brittle plant tissue.
- Attach to stones with suitable line, or place small portions between other aquarium plants.
- Allow the plant to establish before moving or trimming heavily.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.

Affirm & Financing Orders
- Affirm or similar financing orders that are cancelled or returned in-store are subject to a 5% service charge. This covers the processing fee charged to us by the financing provider.
