Eshopps PF-1200 High-Capacity Hang-On Overflow
The Eshopps PF-1200 Overflow Box connects a non-drilled aquarium to an under-cabinet sump, refugium or biological filter without requiring permanent modification to the aquarium. Its dual-siphon hang-on-back configuration uses two smoke-coloured U-tubes to transfer water over the aquarium wall and into the external drain chamber.
Rated for aquarium systems up to 200 gallons and flow rates up to 1,200 GPH, the PF-1200 is the highest-capacity model in the current Eshopps Power Flow line. Its compact acrylic construction requires only approximately three inches of rear clearance while providing dual 1-inch drain connections for larger sump systems.

PF-1200 System Planning and Siphon Notes
Allow enough clearance behind the aquarium for the external overflow box, drain fittings and connected plumbing. The return pump must be sized according to the actual flow delivered after head-pressure loss and should not exceed the PF-1200's maximum rated capacity.
Both U-tubes must remain completely filled with water during operation. Trapped air, algae growth or debris inside either tube can reduce siphon capacity and create an imbalance between the aquarium return flow and overflow drainage.
Ensure that the sump has enough reserve volume to hold all drain-down water when the return pump stops. The complete system should be tested during normal operation, shutdown and restart before being left unattended.
Eshopps PF-1200 Installation Directions
Hang the internal pre-filter box inside the aquarium and place the external overflow chamber directly behind it. Adjust the mounting hardware until the assembly is level, secure and positioned at the desired aquarium water height.
Connect appropriate drain plumbing to both 1-inch bulkheads and route the lines securely into the sump. Prime both U-tubes completely and confirm that no trapped air remains before placing them between the internal and external boxes. Start the return pump and verify stable siphon flow through both tubes.
Shut off the return pump to confirm that the sump safely accommodates all draining water. Restart the pump and verify that circulation returns to normal. Inspect and clean the U-tubes, pre-filter foams and overflow boxes regularly to maintain dependable flow.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- Confirmed defective and warranty returns have no restocking fee and no Affirm fee. Customer does not pay return shipping — J&L Aquatics will provide a prepaid return label.
- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
