Arrow Crab - Decorated

There are two types of Arrow Decorated crab; one type has long spindly legs and the other is squat and short. It is also known as the Sponge Head crab after its habit of putting sponge on top of its carapace as camouflage. In the aquarium it will take bits of corals or macroalgae as well to better blend in with its surroundings. It is an opportunistic feeder and small or weakened tank-mates may become fair game. It grows up to 6 inches and is easy to feed on fish food.
