The Advantage 2000+ Hanger 15 Watt model gives aquarists the capacity of the larger Advantage platform in a hanger-style layout. It is useful where space, cabinet access, or plumbing limitations make an in-line UV sterilizer harder to install.

Advantage 2000+ Hanger 15 Watt Reef Flow and Marine Fish Control
For reef aquariums, use the 30,000 or 45,000 uW/cm2 flow targets to help preserve planktonic food supply. For marine fish systems without reef or live rock, the 75,000 or 90,000 uW/cm2 flow targets provide stronger fish-disease control. Confirm actual pump flow after head loss rather than relying only on pump box ratings.

- Confirm the aquarium or sump edge can support the hanger-style unit securely.
- Position the UV where it remains accessible for lamp and quartz sleeve service.
- Install after filtration whenever possible for better UV transmission.
- Set flow to match the desired UV dosage and aquarium application.
- Do not operate the lamp when the chamber is dry or has no water flow.
- Turn the unit off if water will remain stagnant inside the UV chamber for more than 30 minutes.
- Replace the UV lamp after 14 months of continuous use.

Return Policy — Aquarium Equipment & Supplies
- All returns and/or exchanges must be made within 30 days of receipt of product.
- Before returning or exchanging any goods, you must contact J&L Aquatics to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA). Items returned without prior authorization will be declined.
- Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in as-new condition, and in perfect sellable condition. All returns are subject to inspection upon receipt.
- A 15% restocking fee applies to all online returns. This fee includes the cost of outbound shipping.
- Customer is responsible for return shipping costs on standard returns.
- Order cancellations made before shipping are not subject to a restocking fee.

Defective, Warranty & DOA Items

- All defective claims are subject to inspection. Items showing signs of customer damage, improper installation, or misuse are not covered under warranty.
