Product Description
ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System - 64oz
ESV B-Ionic Calcium Buffer System - 64oz is a ready-to-use two-part calcium and alkalinity supplement for reef aquariums. It helps maintain the calcium and carbonate alkalinity used by stony corals, clams, coralline algae, and other calcifying marine organisms.
ESV B-Ionic Calcium and Alkalinity Maintenance
B-Ionic is designed for aquarists who want a straightforward daily dosing system without mixing powders or running a calcium reactor. Component No. 1 supports alkalinity, while Component No. 2 supplies calcium, allowing reef keepers to maintain both parameters through regular testing and measured dosing.
Ready-to-Use 64oz B-Ionic for Daily Reef Dosing
- Two-component calcium and alkalinity system for marine and reef aquariums.
- Ready-to-use 64 oz package with no dilution required before dosing.
- Helps replace calcium and carbonate alkalinity consumed during calcification.
- Formulated to support ionic balance in reef aquarium water.
- Provides major, minor, and trace elements in ratios designed to duplicate synthetic seawater.
- Does not contain phosphate, nitrate, or organic chemicals.
64oz Calcium Buffer System Package Details

ESV B-Ionic Dosing Directions
Start with 1 ml of Component No. 1 and 1 ml of Component No. 2 per 4 gallons of aquarium capacity per day. Dose each component separately into a high-flow area and allow time between parts so they do not mix together in concentrated form. Test calcium and alkalinity frequently, then adjust the daily dose gradually to keep both values stable. Once target levels are reached, equal daily amounts are normally used unless temporarily correcting an imbalance.
What's Included
- One 32 oz bottle of Component No. 1 Alkalinity.
- One 32 oz bottle of Component No. 2 Calcium.
